 Bio 

As the owner of Peak Performance Wellness, LLC, Mike Recicar has specialized in sports massage therapy and personal training for over 19 years. With a focus on total wellness, Mike helps competitive athletes and weekend warriors achieve their sports specific goals and reduce recovery time.

By incorporating massage techniques, strength exercises and flexibility movements, he is able to enhance his client's active lifestyle. The key to any good training program is the ability to recover quicker from muscle fatigue and limit injuries from poor movement patterns, created by muscle weakness and imbalances

Mike has worked with the Orlando Predators arena football team, David Leadbetter's golf academy, runners, cyclists, and triathletes to name a few. 

Mike is an active member of AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association), NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and CCA (Coastal Conservation Association). His passion for healthy living and active lifestyle are driven by both personal and professional goals. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, stand up paddle surfing, yoga, fishing and all things outdoors.

A native Floridian, he lives in New Smyrna Beach, with his best friend and wife, Dawn. Mike's son, Shane and yellow lab, Gracie are also his pride and joy.

 

Mission Statement

 

My Mission at Peak Performance is to provide each individual client with a program of wellness not pain management. I believe that massage will facilitate the healing process. In conjunction with lifestyle changes such as nutrition, exercise, stress management, proper biomechanics and a positive approach to life these changes can happen. Without these crucial components massage may be a temporary fix, my goal is to provide you with complete balance and wellness.
